The platform is free to use and has gained significant traction, with over 350,000 teams utilizing the app across more than 50 countries. Heja differentiates itself by providing a user-friendly interface that consolidates team schedules, messaging, and availability tracking, thereby reducing the clutter of traditional communication methods. The company aims to foster a positive impact on youth sports by making team management accessible and efficient for everyone involved.
Why we invested
What attracted us to Heja was the strong team behind the company. Founders Mikael Blix and Johan Berglund who have been operating Laget.se, a platform aimed at the Swedish league sports market, since 2004. The founders have a long background in team sports, understand the challenges involved and know the user base very well. They have also created a strong culture and team and has shown strong organic growth and product development.
