Luminar Ventures is Sweden's new seed-stage venture capital fund.

We aim to provide professional seed stage financing to early stage technology companies throughout Sweden that are looking to disrupt or transform major industries with digital technologies and innovations. But we provide much more than just capital. We engage with our portfolio companies and are actively helping with strategic, growth, team and organizational, and operational support, and together setting the foundation for future expansion.

Strategic Partners

Sting

Founded in 2002, Sting is the leading early stage innovation eco system in Sweden with its Test Drive, Incubator, and Accelerator programs. Working out of startup hub SUP46 or co-working spaces like, THINGS and H2, Sting supports promising startups with business development support, access to financing, recruitment support and world-class networks. Sting is evaluating a large number of companies every year, and has actively supported over 200since the start, incl. successful companies like Diamorph, Barnebys, VideoPlaza Yubico and Unomaly. Sting will provide the fund with a unique deal flow and access to its innovation platform and networks.

KTH Holding AB

Since its founding in 1827, KTH has grown to become one of Europe’s leading technical and engineering universities, as well as a key center of intellectual talent and innovation. The fund has a strategic partnership with KTH Holding AB, which is the holding company of the KTH Royal Institute of Technology - one of the leading technical and engineering universities in Europe. They support the fund with a strong deal flow and access to their respective innovation platforms and networks.
