Fika Jobs is a Stockholm-based, video-first hiring platform that replaces the traditional CV with AI-powered video conversations. Candidates complete a roughly 10-minute interview with an AI agent, which is automatically turned into short video clips and a discoverable profile that employers can browse and revisit as new roles open. Free for job seekers, Fika charges employers only on a successful hire, and anonymises attributes like age, gender and ethnicity during matching to support fairer decisions. Named after the Swedish tradition of fika, the platform is built on the belief that meaningful professional connections start with conversation, not paperwork.

Why we invested
Reid Jackson, Partner

Hiring is one of the most broken processes in any company, and Fika flips the model: candidate-centric, video-first, and powered by AI that surfaces the human behind the application.

But what really convinced us was Jakob and Alexander. Two brothers who have built companies together since childhood, pairing rare product and technical talent with relentless drive. We couldn't be more excited to be on this journey with them as they reimagine hiring.

Quote from the Founder

We believe candidates need a new way to stand out, through personal AI video conversations. Traditional hiring is becoming increasingly automated, with AI-generated applications screened by AI before a person ever gets to show who they really are. Our approach is the opposite: we use AI to make the process more human, not less. We're excited to have Luminar with us as we build the default way people apply for jobs.
